This Directory identifies those AFCC California Members who are Mental Health Practitioners (MHPs) available to serve in the role of family mediator (or counselor depending on jurisdiction ) for court-involved families. To join the Mediator List, the MHP must be a member in good standing of AFCC-CA and be willing to follow the California Rules of Court, Rule 5.210 Court-Connected Child Custody Mediation and the AFCC Model Standards of Practice for Family and Divorce Mediation (2000). AFCC-CA has not vetted and confirmed the qualifications of these practitioners other than their current membership. The user of this Directory should do their own vetting process to verify what is stated herein.
