Dear AFCC-CA Members,
Two exciting opportunities are available to our members this month.
On May 20, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. we are proud to offer the webinar “Belonging, Fear, and the Battle for Children: A Social Capital Approach to Helping Families in Conflict.” The webinar will feature Chandler Hoffman, Psy.D. who will introduce a cutting-edge, evidence-based model showing how improving social health- through friendships, belonging, and emotional support can reduce legal conflict, improve co-parenting outcomes, and ultimately serve children’s best interests. REGISTRATION NOW AVAILABLE HERE | $30 AFCC CA Chapter Members | $50 Non-Members
We are also excited to announce that the Call for Presenters is officially open!
This is a wonderful opportunity to share your expertise, insights, and experiences at our 2027 Conference in Costa Mesa. Whether you’re a seasoned presenter or considering stepping up for the first time, we’d love to hear from you.
You may download a flyer which includes a list of specific topics you may wish to focus your presentation on. We are particularly interested in presentations with panels which include a judicial officer, attorney, and mental health professional.. A mental health professional is required on each panel, so as to offer continuing education credit for other mental health professionals.
The conference will be held February 5 – 7, 2026. Here is the link to submit online applications.
If you encounter any issues with the form, contact us .Don’t miss your chance to contribute to what promises to be an outstanding program. We encourage all members to consider submitting a proposal.
We hope you will take advantage of the opportunity to learn at our webinar, as well as submit a proposal for our conference!
Warmest regards,
