Welcome to the updated AFCC California website! Our goal was to make the site more user friendly with easier access to the information and news about the Chapter and AFCC. You will notice some familiar material, much of it in a “new place” on the site, and the use of home page graphics to announce important upcoming events and activities.
A number of Site Pages will contain existing material but have a new look and layout. In addition to a new Home page, you will encounter a new way of registering for webinars, conferences and special activities right on the website on the Events Registration page.
An Events Calendar is now accessible at the very bottom on every page of the website. It will be expanded to include not just Chapter events and AFCC activities, but any other programs deemed appropriate by the Board of Directors or its Committees.
In the initial weeks of the new site you will see periodic tweaks as we re-arrange material that was not addressed in the first stages of the site’s development. In addition, coming soon, you will see the following:
- A Document Library where you will see past materials posted as if in a classic filing cabinet, with the ability to sort and search for documents you may wish to access. There will be a Members Only control over much of this material to prevent unauthorized access.
- The previous specialized lists of Mentors and Custody Evaluators will be posted in a searchable Directory that will be available to Chapter Members. The print style documents will be discontinued at some point and members will be able your own information by logging into the website.
Watch for further enhancements in the coming weeks. We hope you will find the site easy to navigate – eventually! – and in the meantime please excuse any quirks or odd fonts as we work to finalize every corner of the site. Thank you for your patience!
